About the Project

The Within Reach Project empowers young women in the justice system to heal, grow, and reclaim their futures. We believe emotional intelligence is a form of crime prevention, and that healing is possible — even inside.

Why It Matters

Most young women in custody were never taught how to regulate their emotions — only how to survive. By teaching emotional intelligence, coping skills, and self-trust, we break cycles of harm from the inside out.
